Nicolas watches as Mary comes up behind her young escort, glad to be on stage, away from the fray.

The blissful dance of the the newlyweds is ended When Mary loudly confronts Bernard.

Nico turns away to hide his smile as Mary slaps Bernard in the face.

As soon as he comes offstage, Mary is there for him with arms open.

Mary laughs huskily, "I know," she murmurs, "You have a pregnant girlfriend, you have to get home before morning. But you will come & visit me for awhile," she says. She's not asking. Nico nods & squeezes her hips before letting her out of his arms.
