Heather's wedding is fast approaching & while Coby is happy for his sister, he's not looking forward to losing a whole Saturday at a stuffy affair like a wedding, with no chance of meeting anyone or having any fun. He's called several girls he's dated in the past, hoping to score a date for this thing, but none of them said yes. Which is probably just as well: ex-girlfriends & weddings on Valentine's Day are a bad mix. So finally, he decides to try Xtina. She's been a lot nicer to him lately, and since she's not with anyone at the moment, maybe she'll be free. "Hey, I was thinking since you probably don't have any plans for Valentine's Day..." he starts out, but Xtina shrieks at him, "I don't need a pity date, Coby. I'm not that pathetic!" "No, dude, you don't understand, I need the 'pity date'. My sister is getting married on Valentine's & I don't want to go alone. Please, Xtina, do this for me & I will owe you big time," he explains."Heather's getting married?" Xtina says, her voice getting quieter, "Okay, Coby, I'll go with you."

So when the big day comes, Coby puts on his waiter outfit & waits for Xtina to meet him at his car. When she shows, he can't help but whistle through his teeth & tell her she looks smoking hot in her gown. And he gives her some flowers. "What are those for?" Xtina asks him. "I don't know, aren't you supposed to give girls flowers for these things?" he answers. "This isn't the prom," she laughs, but she takes the flowers. "Did you even go to your prom, Xtina?" he asks as he opens the car door for her. "No," she snorts, laughing. "Me either," Coby laughs, and they head out to Topanga.

When Coby's Dad first married Heather's Mom, Heather spoke Spanish almost exclusively & hung around with mostly Latino kids at school. As she got older, she spoke more & more English, but since she & Ulises have gotten serious, she's been reverting back to her old ways. The whole wedding was conducted in Spanish & Coby feels like he's the only one who doesn't know what's going on. "What are they saying?" he whispers to Xtina. "How should I know?" she quips back at him, "I don't speak Spanish." "You don't?" "Why would I?" "I don't know, because you're so smart, I guess." Xtina gives him a funny look, "Well, thanks, Coby, but I never studied Spanish...."

Kids & old ladies...the only hot chick here is a lesbian....Coby is doubly glad he brought Xtina along. No one else is interested in him, or interesting to him.

It seems like it will never end.....

But eventually the sun goes down & Coby is free to collect Xtina & head out. "Hey, you wanna get a drink or something before we head back to Hollywood?" Coby asks Xtina as he starts his car."Dressed like this?" she asks in return. "Well, I look like an idiot, but you look hot, Xtina. So unless you're embarassed to be seen with me....I want a drink." "Okay, but I don't want to go where anyone I know will see me," Xtina answers. "How about Venice? I bet none of your vampire friends go to the beach even at night," Coby laughs.
